Who are we?

Dr. Nirmal Lakriwi is a dedicated and passionate Ayurvedic practitioner with a comprehensive background in traditional medicine and modern wellness therapies. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) from the University of Kelaniya, along with a diploma in Korean acupuncture and specialized certification in Panchakarma from Kerala, India, Dr. Lakriwi brings a well-rounded and holistic approach to healing.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lakriwi has worked in diverse settings, including as the Chief Ayurveda Doctor and General Manager of Operations at Medical Herb Café in Colombo 7, and as the Chief Ayurveda Doctor and Wellness Center Manager at Kaya Wellness Resort in Uswatakeiyawa. His deep understanding of Ayurveda, combined with his expertise in Korean acupuncture and Panchakarma, allows him to offer a wide range of personalized treatments for holistic health and wellness.
Dr. Lakriwi is also a Visiting Lecturer in Ayurveda Cosmetology, where he educates the next generation of wellness practitioners. With five international research publications under his belt, he continues to contribute to the growing field of Ayurvedic medicine with innovative insights and practices.
